All of employers have a certain duty of care when it comes to their employees, and with the current shortage of drivers affecting the transport industry it is more important than ever to take good care of your drivers. 

Looking after the well-being of your drivers improves employee retention and also improves a driver’s productivity and ability to perform their job. Drivers are prone to a range of illnesses relating to the job, including; high blood pressure, depression, anxiety, loneliness, extreme fatigue, diabetes, and sleep apnea. Promoting a healthy eating and exercise regime amongst your drivers has been shown to reduce the risks of these illnesses developing.
